Workshop. This workshop
will feature an educational panel discussion with health and nutrition
professionals, restaurant owners and other experts.There will also be a mini-vendor fair featuring local businesses that support a gluten
Panel participants will include:
Don Andrasik, author of Gluten Free in Afganistan.
Maureen Burke, owner of One Dish Cuisine.
Dr. Anca Safta, celiac expert from University of Maryland.
Jules Shepard, owner of Jules Gluten Free.
Dr. Rebecca Vickers, Anne Arundel Pediatrics.
Maureen Shackelford and Ann Caldwell, AAMC dieticians.
Dr. Nancy Miller-Ihli, owner of Savvy Selections and former USDA National Program Leader for Nutrition.
$10 for CCSG members and $15 for non-members with advance registration. Onsite registration fees will be $15 for CCSG members and $20 for non-members (payable with cash or check – no credit cards).
