kick-off a full month of activities and bringing awareness to taking care of
your heart, AAMC and the Heart Health Foundation will host a fun walk in
downtown Annapolis. The starting point will be Park Place (outside Fado's Irish
restaurant). Join us for a live remote from WRNR radio before the walk begins
join students from local high schools and the Naval Academy who'll lead
is a pet friendly walk. Thanks to the students from Family and Consumer Science
classes, your pet may receive a handmade red scarf or a fresh-baked dog
walk will conclude at the Annapolis Market House. The mayor and other officials
will proclaim February as Heart Month. You'll have the opportunity to blow red
bubbles every 33 seconds to signify how someone is impacted by heart disease.
We'll also have red rose pedals to drop into the water to commemorate any
loved ones who've had heart attacks, strokes or other cardiovascular isssues.
